Illinois Executive Mansion of Illinois, Springfield, Illinois
As an adjunct to Illinois' new Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, 80 paintings from the American Legacy Collection are on display throughout the public rooms of the Mansion and are part of their conducted tours.

Rosemont Exposition Center and Theater, Rosemont, Illinois
Selected paintings from the Collection displayed in the VIP rooms to promote a "sense of American pride and unity" within the community.

The Harry S Truman Library & Museum, Independence, Missouri
As a focus of the Harry S Truman Centennial observance, the show was extended beyond its original closing date of October 1,1985 due to popular demand.

October 1981 - March 1982
Yorktown Victory Center, Yorktown, Virginia
The museum mounted the exhibition again in October, 1981 to be on display during the Bicentennial celebrations for the end of the Revolutionary War. Among the invited guests: President Ronald Reagan, Mrs. Ronald Reagan, President Mitterand of France, and other heads of state were shown the Collection as a highlight of the observances.
